PROGRESS CONTINUES ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MINISTRY CENTER

The Teen Challenge Centers of New England under the direction of Rodney Hart were a great help with our construction in June of 2006 and May of 2007. Two photo's of these teams follow. These teams were such a great blessing to our ministry helping with the construction as well as helping with a local orphanage, evangelism in the squatter camps, and sharing testimonies and singing in some Mexican churches.

Pray with us for Gods provision to complete this project soon so we can begin the training of future missionary-evangelists. Our present need is approximately $240,000 to complete phase one and our target date is December 2008. At least four building teams are planning to travel to Mexico to help us within the next 10 months but we need others to meet our goal. We can also use additional members on those teams.

Thank you for visiting this page and come visit us when you can. May God continue to bless you, your family, and your church.

THIS IS WHAT THE MINISTRY CENTER IS ABOUT

Helping the Orphanages.

Loving the kids.

Squatter camps have many needs physically and spiritually.

Reaching people for Jesus.

"Kids" they're beautiful.

a little joy goes along way.

Gods team to touch Mexico 2005-07 and until Jesus comes.

Jake, Bobby, and Adam 3 dedicated young men who just graduated from high school.

The electric has been very costly, we had to bring the poles, transformer, and wire over one kilometer. $30,000 was the cost, but God saw the need and spoke to His people to supply it in total. We have also installed all the rough interior electric and are just waiting now for the drywall and painting to be completed before we are able to finish it. Over 90 lights and chandeliers have been donated by a local contractor and are in storage.

An American septic system in Mexico.

"This type septic system is not the normal for Mexico, built by Americans and with American standards we do not expect any leaks or smell. Thanks to various churches but particularly "Gates of Praise" in Laredo Texas."

"Our new construction coordinator Dan Karmer, Milton our resident worker from Honduras, and Raymundo our director of ministries are seen working on the system".

"Milton continues to hang our drywall single-handedly while we are absent."

Dan and Ray Kramer, two Christian contractors and brothers from Eastern Assembly of God in Baltimore, visited in July. Dan mentioned how when they walked into the center for the first time, he sensed God's Spirit and felt He spoke to him to continue to work on this project until it is complete.

"Dan Kramer, retired Baltimore County police officer/contractor, will be taking over as Construction Director and Coordinator of Building Teams for the next year. Dan has been feeling God's calling into full-time ministry."

OUR PROJECT BEGAN IN 2003

April 29, 2003 Groundbreaking Day for the new ministry center along Interstate 85. Standing and stooping with me are the Superintendent and the Secretary of the Central District, three Presbyters, two contractors, and present and future workers in the ministry.

Superintendent Humberto Pereyra breaks the ground for the new ministry center as well as officiating this special event.

Secretary-Treasurer Hector Cisneros also honored us with his presence.

This day was the beginning of the vision God had given us, I was thrilled to lift a shovel full of dirt on this miracle property.

Mario Trevino, the previous property owner who donated the property to the ministry. Mario should have been killed in an auto accident, but instead he is a walking miracle of God.

Presbyter Tostado, one of the three local Presbyters who were in attendence. We had ministered in his church on our very first trip to Nuevo Laredo in December 1990.

Three hectarias of land donated to the Central District is where our new ministry center will be located. That is approximately 7.2 acres

All the land was cleared and prepared for construction to begin in May.

A slingshot is a handy tool when rabbits are plentiful and construction workers are hungry.

Fried rabbit and cactus, the daily evening meal for our Oaxaca, Mexican team.

This billboard, 10' x 26' is located at the entrance of our property, at kilometer 176, on route 85. Between 6,000 and 10,000 tractor-trailers cross the border in this area every day, and about 30,000 passenger cars. Many of whom will pass this billboard.

The billboard says "Jesus loves you", and gives our website address and/or a telephone number where passersby may receive the gospel when they contact us.

As we began to set the footers for the ministry center, we see the billboard in the distance at the entrance of the property.

The interior, first floor walls of the ministry center were constructed by a team from Baltimore, Maryland and Bel Air, Maryland headed up by Pastor Chris Dutruch and Tod Tanner. Tod recently helped in construction of an addition to New Covenant Church of God in Bel Air, and is Bill Parks' nephew.

Solid foundation and solid second floor for our team leaders apartments as well as the chapel.

Steel roof trusses made on the property.

No crane is available so 10 Mexican brothers will be the crane today. Saturday, November 1, 2003

Pastor Martin and his team from Nuevo Laredo are constructing the roof.

Pastor Martin is a skillful contractor as well as good pastor. He is also responsible for the construction of our billboard located along the highway.

Ready to put on the roof November 6, 2003

Trusses and purlins were erected by December 1st, the roof should be completed by Christmas. Praise God!

Now comes the task of installing windows, doors, electric, heat, air conditioning, plumbing, septic system, drywall, flooring, bathroom and kitchen facitities, and all the finishing touches of the project. Please pray with us that God will continue to supply our needs and ask Him what you can do to help. We continue to walk by faith knowing that He has spoken to our hearts to reach Mexico with the gospel. We believe this ministry center will be the catalyst of bringing change to thousands of lives as they find Jesus as their saviour.
