Team & Truck

Over 4000 people on more than 140 mission trips have traveled with RMI to many destinations throughout Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean on short-term missions since 1990.

Crowds in the squatter camps of Mexico gather spontaneously as we play music and invite the neighborhood to an outdoor meeting.

Horse & Carriage

Most come on foot, but some may come by horse and carriage.

Children and adults enjoy the puppets as they sing, teach Scripture verses, distribute prizes and provide laughter.

Drama Team 2

Using pre-recorded soundtracks in Spanish, team members share the Gospel through dramas.

The central theme is God's love and the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the sins of mankind.

Drama Team

Street Prayer

Team members share personal testimonies, a short message from the Bible is presented, and an opportunity is given to those listening to pray to receive Christ.

Many in the crowds have physical problems and little money to acquire medical help.  Team members pray with those having special needs.

Baby Prayer

First Aid

If healthcare professionals are among the team, medical care may be provided while food and clothing are being distributed.

Bibles and other materials are given to those who have prayed to receive Christ, and accompanied by interpreters, team members also distribute literature door-to-door.

Old Woman

A great spiritual hunger can be seen among the people as they warmly receive us and share the deepest needs of their hearts.

Distributing gifts during the yearly Christmas outreach in Mexico provides the opportunity to share about Jesus, the greatest gift of all!

Our trucks are very useful for carrying supplies and have been modified to include a fold-out puppet stage, platform, sound system and storage cabinets.

Raft Ferry

Each trip has its unique experiences.  Here we are pulling our vehicles on a raft across the Rio Grande, by hand, with the use of ropes and pulleys.

This team visited The Center of the Earth and enjoyed a vista of the northern and southern hemispheres with Missionaries Tim and Debbie Anderson in Ecuador.

Ecuador Prison

Ministry in an Ecuadorian prison provided the unique experience of witnessing the baptism of eleven inmates in a 55-gallon drum as they testified of their new-found faith in Christ.

About one thousand students attended a school assembly in a communistically influenced area of Quito as we openly shared a personal relationship with Christ as the answer to the drug abuse problem.

Street ministry in the capitol city of Caracas, Venezuela, reported to be the most unevangelized city in South America.

This team, pictured in the home of Missionary Dan Campbell and his family, enjoyed a great time in Venezuela.

Venez Street

Street outreach on the Venezuelan island of Margarita was awesome.

A boat ride down Venezuela's Paragua River was interesting. Stories of piranas, however, kept us from taking a swim.

Jungle Church Service

Destination...a jungle church service.

Since 1994, we have traveled yearly to Cuba.  In October 2000, Joyce had the privilege of being a speaker at the National Women's Conference of the Assemblies of God held in Cienfuegos.

Cuban House

Despite the poor economic conditions, a great spiritual awakening is sweeping Cuba, and Chrisitians are rich in their faith and dedication to God.

Since 1959, no new churches have been constructed in Cuba, yet in the Assemblies of God alone, the number of churches have risen from 89 in 1990 to over 4000 presently.   Homes and additions are being converted to places of worship and although they have no cars, "garages" are being built for the same purpose.

Vilas Church

The Church on the Rock in Camaguey, Cuba,  pastored by Orson and Noemi Vila, has over 600 cell groups in and around the city ministering to about 7,000 people weekly.  With three services each Saturday and five on Sunday, this church is one example of the Holy Spirit's move and the hunger of the people in Cuba.

Children, as well as adults, listened intently as a team shared Bible stories in a house meeting in Bogota, Colombia.

Missionary Bill Pier and a national pastor with whom we worked in Bogota.  What a view of an expansive city!

Prisoners attending a service in a Honduran jail read the distributed literature.

We ministered in Panama in 21 schools and to over 10,000 panamanian children.

The children were so warm and receptive to all that we shared.

Leo prayed openly with the children and led them in the sinners prayer.
