Leo and Anita . . .
I have been associated with RMI for about 11 years now.  The first time I met Brother Bill, his sons Tony and Steve was back in 1990 when they first came to our church, Templo Emanuel, in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.  I was only 15 at the time and had just given my life to Jesus. I immediately had a great burden for the lost and the ministry teams coming with RMI gave me an opportunity to evangelize my city along with meeting other young people from all over the US who had the same desire.

The ministry of puppets, drama, music, tract distribution, and preaching were exactly what I wanted to do and to see so many people respond to the gospel message made me a regular participant of the ministry.  Throughout the years I have not only learned to speak fairly good english, but brother Bill now calls me his best interpreter. I don't know if that's true, but I know all I want to do is serve Jesus and do all I can for him.

Besides ministering alongside of at least 60 teams in Mexico, I have also been blessed to have the opportunity to minister with RMI in Venezuela, Ecuador, Panama, Cuba, and of course in the US.  These past eleven years of my life have been exciting, but I'm expecting to do more and see God do more in my life in the future.  Jesus is coming soon and we must do all we can to bring Mexicans, Latin Americans, Americans, and people from all over the world to the knowlege of Jesus Christ.

In 1999 I met Anita Narvaez when she attended my mothers church and gave her life to the Lord.  I noticed that there was just something very special about her as we got to know each other better. She became a sweet blessing in my life as God brought us together and Brother Bill married us on July 28, 2000.  Anita and I want to do God's will no matter what that means.  Presently I am a licensed Assemblies of God minister, an associate pastor with my mother in Nuevo Laredo, the director of ministries for "Cristo te Ama" ministries,  a team leader for RMI, and I expect to continue to direct teams with RMI in the future as the Lord provides.

I want to say thanks to God for blessing my life so much and thanks to all the great people I've met over these last eleven years. Oh, and thanks to REACH Ministries International which I love so much.

"My past mission trips with REACH Ministries have been a blessing. My favorite was Cuba. People everywhere need the Lord and He is blessing and using you and your ministry to reach the unreached !!
Lord bless you as you continue to seek His Will for the future."

"We have had the pleasure of being involved with "REACH Ministries International" in Mexico and in other Latin American countries as well as Cuba, and we are amazed to see what God has done through this ministry wherever we've been.  Seeing the work that this ministry has developed for ten years has been a true joy.  We sincerely believe that actions speak louder than words and this holds true when it comes to REACH Ministries.

Judy and I have been truly blessed to be a part of this ministry.  It has shaped our vision of what God can do through hard work and dedication.  The Lord has given us a chance to minister, cry, and pray for the souls that need Christ in Mexico.  It has been said that "understanding others, changes the way we feel aboout ourselves", and as we become more aquainted with this ministry we understand what this truly means."

"I just wanted to thank you for the impact  you and your ministry had on my life. Since the time I was 5 years old, I was telling people I would be a missionary. The trips to Mexico were the first I had ever been on and I knew that I had been hooked for good! I loved my time in Mexico and often dreamed about returning. However, God had different plans. I graduated high school and went to Bible school in Florida, majoring in missions. After graduation, I worked for about 9 months and prepared to go to China. I moved to China last January and just returned for the holidays. I'll be headed back next month.

It was a great year..exciting, scary, challenging and so rewarding. I love it there and I know this is where God has me.

I often look back on my time in Mexico and am so thankful for the work God did in my life during those trips. It sealed God's call in my heart. So, I wanted to thank you for your faithfulness and let you know that your ministry has had far-reaching effects--all the way to China!!!!!"

"Hey Uncle Bill!!!
Hope all is going well with you and yours.  I just wanted to thank you again for giving us such awesome opportunities in Mexico.  That was definitely one of the best experiences of my life!  Thanks again and may God richly bless your ministry."

Megan (from the San Fernando mission trip) . . .
"Hello Brother Bill, this is Megan from South Africa who went on the trip with you to San Fernando. I wanted to say thank you for the fantastic opportunity to go to Mexico, I was so blessed by what I saw and praised God and still do that I was able to do something to help souls be saved for His Kingdom. The trip really humbled me and filled me with such joy. I cannot express my thanks. Ramondo and the orphanage has been on my heart almost constantly and I would really like to return and help whenever there is a need for however long it is needed. I also have a friend who wants to come down and help at the orphanage too. Can you please send me Leo's and Ramondo's address because I would like to support them as much a I can. Thank you very much!"

"I went to Guatemala on my first foreign short-term missions trip with Bill Parks in July of 1997. The experience was life-changing. Where in Mexico I had been working with the local church and all Mexican people, in Guatemala we were working with two American missionaries, helping them establish a church in Livingston on the coast. The experience helped me to fully understand what it is like to be on the field full-time, to live on the same street as those to whom you are ministering, to see the financial struggles experienced by those who serve so far from home. The life of a foreign missionary is spiritually difficult. From that trip I learned how desperately our missionaries need our prayers. The next summer found me in Venezuela with my new husband (whom I had met the previous summer in Mexico on my second trip with Bill!) There we had the opportunity to work with a beautiful group of believers who were determined to plant a church in a city which had never housed an evangelical congregation! It was an amazing time where I believe I received more from the Venezuelan Christians' faith and perseverence than anything I could have given them! We saw an large amount of spiritual warfare on this trip, but as a team we were fasting and praying together, and we saw amazing victory in the name of Jesus. The greatest victory is that the church we helped plant -- on a street corner with electricity wired in from a neighbor's home -- is still meeting and people are getting saved!"

"Dear Bill,

When you came to Glad Tidings in Reading, PA and prayed for people to be moved to become involved in the work of the church, the next day I became moved to begin looking at seminaries.  It was a direct result of the Holy Spirit moving within me as I had not given any thought before.  Within a week i had visited two seminaries and contacted a third.

I have now been accepted at The Assemblies of God Seminary's Master of Arts in Christian Ministries program at the Valley Forge site.  I will be taking my first class "Church in Contemporary Society" with randy Walls, October 14-18, 2002.

I wanted you to know that your prayer was powerful and moving.  God Bless you, Nancy Whitacre"
